7:50 am Depart from the Islington Seniors Centre
10:15 am to 10:45 am Enjoy coffee on your own at The Big Apple in Colborne, and a chance to look over their freshly baked Breads and Apple Pies.
10:45 am The drive continues east to Trenton/Belleville, then south into Prince Edward County and on to Picton for our Luncheon at the Waring House.
12:00 pm to 1:15 pm Enjoy a Full Course Chicken Luncheon at the charming Waring House.
1:45 pm to 2:15 pm Visit the Prince Edward County Cidery for Tastings of 4 of their fine ciders
2:30 pm to 3:15 pm Enjoy a stop at the popular Black River Cheese Factory, where you can sample and shop their cheese varieties.
3:30 pm to 4:15 pm Our last visit of the day is the Prince Edward County Lavender Farm, where you will experience both the sights and scents of fields of beautiful lavender in bloom, and visit the Lavender Boutique.
4:15 pm departure, arriving back at the Centre at approx. 7:30 pm

You’ll experience the spectacle of the American and ‘Horseshoe’ (Canadian) Falls “up close and personal” on a Voyage to the Falls aboard a Hornblower Cruise Boat … then view the Falls from above as you enjoy a Buffet Luncheon in the Summit Dining Room atop the Skylon Tower! Following lunch, re-board your coach and depart for a picturesque drive in the Falls area, then via the Niagara Parkway following the Niagara River to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Enjoy a wonderful autumn day trip featuring a Train Ride on the Credit Valley Explorer, Ontario’s premiere Tour Train, as it wends its way from Orangeville through the autumn-coloured Hills of the Headwaters and Credit Valley to north Brampton and return (11:00 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.) Highlights of the ride include crossing the Trestle Bridge spanning the Credit Valley and Forks of the Credit, plus the Provincial Park at Cataract. Lunch will be served on board as you ride (Soup, Sandwich, Dessert, plus Tea/Coffee), and Bar Service is available. Following the train trip we depart Orangeville for Violet Hill via the picturesque Hockley and Airport Roads. Here we’ll visit the delightful Granny Taught Us How and Heidi’s Room, a shopper’s paradise offering gifts, décor treasures, and one-of-a-kind finds.
