“Susan Hayward is absolutely sensational in this enchanting musical retelling of the extraordinary life of 1940’s songstress Jane Froman”. (L.A. Examiner)

Starring Susan Hayward, Rory Calhoun, David Wayne, Thelma Ritter and Robert Wagner.

Packed with unforgettable tunes and an incredible cast, this heartwarming story is a soul-stirring experience. Known for a voice with the power to move millions and a heart to match, Jane Froman (superbly played by Susan Hayward) is one of America’s most beloved singers. But when an overseas flight crashes off the coast of Lisbon she bearly survives the wreck.  Ripped from the spotlight into a series of life-threatening operations, hope seems a distant memory for her as she sets out on a journey of triumphant recovery that is more than heroic, it’s what music is made of.  Ms. Froman was heavily involved in the making of this fabulous movie about her life and the ‘icing on the cake’ is that she also recorded all the songs for it herself. To hear her sing is to never forget her!
