Education: Introduction to the Law & Elder Abuse

FRIDAY, MARCH 29TH from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

A presentation on what the Law says about Reporting Elder Abuse, Capacity and Capacity Assessments, and Principles for Decision-making, the Substitute Decisions Act, forms of Guardianship, the role of a Power of Attorney for Personal Care, and a Power of Attorney for Property, guardianship and reporting abuse to the police.

Presented by: Elder Abuse Ontario and an Elder Abuse Lawyer.

Cost: $2.00 to attend. Please register with the front office.  You may pay ahead or pay at the door when you come to the Centre.
